Your comfort, nail health, and safety are important throughout every appointment. Nails By Mateo maintains a clean, thoughtfully prepared workspace and follows consistent hygiene practices between clients.
CLEANING & DISINFECTION
The work area and reusable tools are cleaned and disinfected between appointments using products appropriate for a professional nail environment. Equipment is stored carefully after processing to help prevent contamination.
SINGLE-USE ITEMS
Items that cannot be properly disinfected are used for one client and then discarded. Products and tools are handled carefully throughout each service to support a clean appointment experience.
CLIENT HEALTH
For your safety, services may need to be modified or rescheduled if there are signs of an open wound, active infection, significant inflammation, or another condition that could be aggravated by a nail service.
Nail professionals cannot diagnose or treat medical conditions. Clients may be encouraged to consult a qualified healthcare professional before receiving service.
ALLERGIES & SENSITIVITIES
Please share any known allergies, sensitivities, previous reactions, or relevant health concerns before your appointment. This helps Mateo select suitable products and make thoughtful adjustments when possible.
WHEN TO RESCHEDULE
Please contact Nails By Mateo before your appointment if you are experiencing:
• An open cut or wound near the service area
• Signs of a possible nail or skin infection
• Significant redness, swelling, pain, or irritation
• A recent reaction to a nail product
• An illness that could affect others
When appropriate, your appointment can be rescheduled after the condition has resolved or you have received guidance from a healthcare professional.
